DakTech Xeon® SATA55 6U Modular Server
The DakTech's SATA55 Modular Server is built on Intel® Multi-flex Technology and integrates storage, computing and networking to simplify complex IT environments. Our Modular Server is a system with seamless installation, migration and growth capablitlies. It has the ability to support up to six Server Compute Modules and six SAS or SATA 3.5" hard disk drives as well as two Ethernet Switch Modules, Integrated SAN, and a Management Module. The Hot-Swappable Server Compute Modules and storage drives allow you to increase capacity on-demand. Manage your system anywhere in the world with an internet connection, with Virtual Presence GUI Management Interface. The server board supports Intel® Xeon® processors with the Intel® 5520 chipset. This model can support the low voltage, 5500 series Nehalem processors. A reliable, high-capacity memory subsystem is provided through Intel® QuickPath Technology Integrated (QPI) Memory Controller on each processor with support for six ECC unbuffered or registered DDR3 DIMMS per processor. Memory configurations up to 96GB DDR3 1333MHz per processor. Please note that the Novell Netware Operating System is only supported in certain virtual environments. SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 Basic kernel 64-bit is supported in hardware on this server.
