It has the ability to support up to six Server Compute Modules and six SAS or SATA 3.5" hard disk drives as well as two Ethernet Switch Modules, Integrated SAN, and a Management Module. The Hot-Swappable Server Compute Modules and storage drives allow you to increase capacity on-demand. Manage your system anywhere in the world with an internet connection, with Virtual Presence GUI Management Interface. The server board supports Intel® Xeon® processors with the Intel® 5520 chipset. This model can support the low voltage, 5500 series Nehalem processors. A reliable, high-capacity memory subsystem is provided through Intel® QuickPath Technology Integrated (QPI) Memory Controller on each processor with support for six ECC unbuffered or registered DDR3 DIMMS per processor. Memory configurations up to 48GB DDR3 1333MHz per processor.
