DakTech’s PlaidSlate is a wireless slate based on the Intel® 945GSE chipset. The PlaidSlate includes a 10.1" 1024 x 600 LCD with Multi-Touch Capacitive Screen. This model has an integrated Intel® Atom™ 1.66 GHz processor, 2GB DDR2 667MHz memory, a 250GB hard drive, and a 802.11 b/g/n Wireless card. The PlaidSlate includes integrated Bluetooth, a 3:1 card reader, 2 USB ports, RJ45 connection 10/100, integrated Intel® graphics, 4 cell lithium battery and a 1.3 megapixel integrated camera. It also comes with an accelerometer, which switches the display orientation. The PlaidSlate comes loaded with Windows 7 Professional. There is no internal optical drive on this model.
